A limiting factor for many auditors is the profession’s overwhelming focus on assuring that internal auditors comply with professional and technical standards.
While these are important, there is a comparatively minimal consideration of whether those projects provide strategic value.
We want to shift that emphasis for internal auditors.
We see Internal Auditors as having a unique and essential ability to contribute to their organization’s strategic success.
Our Mission
Although it may not be intuitive, the fundamental focus for internal auditors, as with anyone else, must start by finding ways to add significant value to their constituents.
Adding recognizable value is the only way to develop influence and become trusted advisors.
The ability to add value is demonstrated and communicated through the auditor’s professional brand.
Our mission is to help internal auditors, at every level, develop and live out a valuable professional brand.
Our Strategy
While there are many resources for helping develop a professional brand, none are focused on the unique circumstances of the internal auditor.
We’ll fill that gap in a way that’s simple, practical, complete, and sustainable.
We will provide the resources to help internal auditors develop their professional brand, with an emphasis on the internal auditor’s unique ability to add strategic value.
